What is it?

Secure mail refers to the use of encryption for all coversational messages to protect the content from being read by any but the intended recipients. We use the latest encryption algorithms to protect your mails.

For us, privacy means protecting your mail from unauthorized access and inspection. Nobody besides you (not even government agencies) has access to your data and is able to read your mails.

Anonymity is the state of an individual's personal identity, or personally identifiable information, being publicly unknown. When you create an account on our server, your identity will never be revealed.

You do not have to be a cryptology expert to use our system. If you are not a computer expert and don't want to learn about encryption, our system is the way to go. Just create an account, and that's it.

Why should you care?

The revelations about Prism and other forms of NSA dragnet surveillance has got some people wondering what all the fuss is. When William Hague tells us that the innocent have nothing to fear from involuntary disclosure, it raises questions about exactly what harms might come about from being spied upon.
Here are some reasons you should care about privacy, disclosure and surveillance.

  • Because privacy isn't secrecy. I know what you do in the toilet, but that doesn't mean you don't want to close the door when you go in the stall.
  • Because if the data says you've done something wrong, then the person reading the data will interpret everything else you do through that light.
  • Because it gives cops bigger haystacks with proportionately fewer needles.
  • Because once the system for surveillance is built into the networks and the phones, bad guys (or dirty cops) can use it to attack you.

SPE-mail is there for you, it is a close community that allow you to exchange email privately, anonymously, and securely.
